Tyanda Holidays at Tyanda are for adults who are particularly interested in walking/cycling, painting/drawing, music, visiting historical sites or just relaxing. We can provide you with walking/cycling maps, sightseeing guides and plenty of other information. The world famous lines of stones at Carnac are a favourite spot to visit as are the nearby old towns of Vannes, Josselin and Pontivy. We are situated in the beautiful Blavet River Valley of southern Brittany between Baud and Melrand. Your holiday is in the comfortable former farmhouse called Tyanda set in a picturesque village of St. Rivalain with a chapel, a fountain, two bars, one which sells lovely bread and a fascinating antique shop. It is an ideal place to enjoy a wonderful holiday in a lovely country setting with the beaches 35 minutes away. The
elegant farmhouse holds 6-8 adults but couples are most welcome at a reduced rate. We
have a
double room downstairs with ensuite facilities. Upstairs we have one double
and one twin. There is a bathroom/wc and a shower/wc room. There is also
a single/double and a single room. There are lovely spacious gardens with secluded sunken areas, the use of a shared above ground 5.3 metre swimming pool with secluded sun area, table tennis and garden games. Barbecues and garden furniture are provided. Nearby there are excellent restaurants, which are reasonably priced. The buildings and grounds are non-smoking, we do not usually take animals.
